| COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING AND VOLUNTEER WORK PROJECT |
 |
During semester or summer take the challenge and get involved as a volunteer student in one of our different projects. Through your experiences with the community, you will learn about leadership, personal advancement and the planning and organization of events. You may participate on a volunteer project during the spring or fall semester or in the summer session. Keep in mind that, during the semester, you’ll need to allocate your time between your volunteer project and 2-3 classes.
COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING
In the Community Service Learning Program you establish learning objectives and take a theoretical course (for full semesters the theoretical course is taught completely in Spanish) on the foundations of citizenship and social commitment.
Presented in cooperation with Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Social Development Institute, this program includes alliances with private or public organizations that serve low-income communities. You will be assigned to a community project to work on in a specific area such as education, health care habits, ecology, construction, and more.
The Community Service Learning Program is only offered during semester and offers 3 academic credits upon completion.
