TESTIMONY OF AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FALL 2011 AND SPRING 2012
My name is Rick, I am from Tennessee State University and I choose to do an exchange program at Tecnologico de Monterrey. My experience in Mexico has been excellent, it has been a huge learning process, I love the people, I´d never meet sweeter people in my life than Mexicans and the food and culture is incredible. They have "Fiesta" for many cultural occasions in Mexico like the Day of the Death or Independence Day which include mariachis, music and food.
The courses are very diverse and they have a large amount of them taught in English as well as Spanish if you choose. In my case one of my courses was Sociology taught English and we did a focus group that was very insightful and exciting.
I highly recommend an exchange program to Monterrey, Tecnologico de Monterrey is a beautiful Campus, with very high quality education, it´s safe and secure and you´ll learn much of the Mexican culture.
I highly recommend to come to Monterrey.
Mexico through the eyes of the worldThe objective of this photography contest is to show the community of Tecnológico de Monterrey a group of images that represent the international students’ perspective of the Mexican culture.
